little questions

okay, here are a few little questions for now.

Is Cooks Discoveries, the store, still open and does anyone know what hours if they are?

I am thinking of going to the Sea Horse Farm after getting off the plane but before going to the hotel (we are staying in Capt Cook). Is there somewhere around or between those places to catch a bite to eat, thinking along the ideas of fast food?

Would it be better to do early Kona area snorkeling on a Sat or Sunday? Trying to decide which thing to do on which day.

Thanks

little questions

Aloha,

Cook%26#39;s Discoveries in Waimea is an amazing place, last time I was in Waimea it was still open, gosh I hope it has not closed!

Seahorse farm is at Natural Energy Lab, so very close to the airport.

Tour times are Mon-Fri at 10am, 12pm and 2pm.

I like to go to the Harbor House Restaurant at Honokohau Harbor when doing the airport thing. Nothing is really fast in Hawaii so you could do Taco Bell in town or McD%26#39;s in Town or Captain Cook.

I would say if you are going to snorkel real early AM Sunday, if during the day Saturday.

Have fun!

little questions

Cooks is still there, and if you plug it into the online yellow pages you can get a phone number to find out the hours.

I too like the Harbor House for near the airport.

I would never recommend fast food, but the franchises are all over. did you mean real fast food or quick food?

If you want some plate lunch, and it%26#39;s midday when you land, I like the hole in the wall by Matsuyama%26#39;s market on the upper highway.

Sounds like you have been here before, so you might know this, but you would take Ka`iminani Dr., first light south of the airport, mauka to Hwy 190, turn right, make a left into the market. Take the old highway through Holualoa if you want to stay up high and not drop into town and connect up with 11 to Captain Cook.

I like the Aloha Angel Cafe in the old theatre in Kainaliu. I would not call them speedy though, not if they%26#39;re busy.

Weekends at the beaches are the most crowded. If you have a weekday, that would be preferable.
