beads

I have a bead shop in Australia - does anyone know of wholesalers on Oahu or Kauai. Thanks in advance

Not a wholesaler to my knowledge but, try Kim%26#39;s and Kimi%26#39;s in Chinatown. Kimi%26#39;s is in Maunakea Market Place on Maunakea St at corner of Hotel St.

Kim%26#39;s is across the street on Maunakea St. Both are wonderful. Loads of pearls, semi precious etc.

If you can%26#39;t find a true wholesaler I encourage you to talk to either of these places and see if you can make a bulk deal. Shop owners in Chinatown are often willing to deal because you are dealing with the owner and not an employee.

Hotel St is for buses only so it%26#39;s easy to get to both shops. If you are driving there is a municiple parking lot on Maunakea St. one block ocean side of Hotel St. (it is next to Cindy%26#39;s Lei Stand.) Just walk back up Maunakea St toward the mountains, 1-1/2 short blocks.

i make jewelry with coral, pearls, puka shells, wood and semi-precious stones. one of my wholesellers is betty%26#39;s imports in waikiki, located behind the pool in the marc suites on lewers. i buy the shell and wood pendants already on a black string. i take these off the string and match beads to them. i take the shell heishi necklaces apart and create my own designs.

Thank you for your help with this

Aloha,

You may want to post this on the Oahu and Kauai boards, many of the locals stick to their boards and your needs may be better served.
