Use of pool at Grand Wailea

Hi. I have heard that you can buy a day pass (wristband) to use the pool at the Grand Wailea if you are not a guest. Does anyone know if that is true or not? We stayed in the Napua Tower two years ago for 2 nights, just didn%26#39;t like the hotel. Too many people, too far go get to things, too noisy at night while trying to sleep, BUT loved the pool and slide. We checked back into the Kea Lani which we love. Thanks.

I recently called the spa to see whether, if I booked my wife a day at the spa, I could use the pool or gym while she was there. They said no, and that there was no option to pay to use the pool. In fact, they said that not even the day-use charge they would charge my wife would entitle her to use the pool during her spa day. They were actually kind of snooty about it. I guess the hotel is big enough that they have to do this to keep the guests from getting annoyed that the pool is too crowded.

Thanks for the info. I guess we will have to decide if it worth staying there again or not to use the pool.

You said it was a long walk from the Napua Tower to anywhere in the resort? I don%26#39;t understand this because the Napua Tower is in the main part of the hotel right in the middle of everything. We were in the Molikini wing and it was a walk to some things but we actually enjoyed the walk. We considered looking into the price of the Napua tower for our next vacation because of the central location in the hotel

Hi there,

We just inquired about the day pass today. They no longer sell them. You have to get a room for the night. Currently they are going for $525/nite
