we are going on a snuba excursion that we booked through our cruiseline. i am just wondering if the companies (snuba company, not cruiseline) provide all the equipment you need, i.e. masks, fins, etc.

You need to check with the company, but my guess is all that is for rent if not provided within the price. One thing you might want is a shortie wetsuit. It gets very cold if you are snorkeling in Hawaii for an extended period of time and snuba would probably be more so because you go down deeper.
