Do we need a reservation for lunch during the week in early March?

we went there for lunch last spring break and got there just before 12:00 . we didn%26#39;t have a reservation and got in right away but it did fill up later so get there early

We stopped in for lunch on a Monday or Tuesday last June on our way to Hana and had no problem getting in. There%26#39;s plenty of seating with many great views. I%26#39;d recommend the Ono or Opakapaka (Red Snapper). Keep in mind that March is fairly busy on the islands, so if you know the day you would like to go to Mama%26#39;s, just call ahead for reservations.
We will be in Maui for Spring Break in March and wanted to go to Mamma%26#39;s for lunch for our anniversary on the26th. I just called and made a reservation yesterday and it didn%26#39;t seem to be a problem. Spring Breaks seem to pack the island in March, so if you know the date, you might want to call to be safe.
