Grand Wailea - next week, extra charges to be aware of?

I have been searching on the forum for a thread that mentioned any extra charges to be aware of....ie self parking charge?

We just want to be sure we do not get surprised come check out!!

I know that there is a per day resort usage fee - I think it is $20 or $25 per day. Also, additional fees for small refrig to be brought to the room and roll-away bed. Would not be at all surprised if there are some other ';hidden'; fees. Hope this helps.

Most of the nicer resorts do charge for parking. I%26#39;ve not ever stayed at theGW, but would guess they do. Maybe it is included in the %26#39;resort charge%26#39;?

Maybe someone who%26#39;s stayed there could confirm...?

I believe that the self parking at the GW is free BUT the parking lot is far away from the main part of the hotel - it is at southern most section of the resort. We have always stayed on the ';Chapel'; side of the GW and it is (and I am not exaggerating) at least a 10 minute walk to the parking structure. FFD

self parking is included in the resort fee which I seem to recall was about $20

Self parking- free

Overnight valet parking- $15

Daily resort fee- $20

Fridge- $25 for entire stay

Have fun at GW, swing on the tarzan rope for me!
