hello everyone,
I have heard there will be a new superferry starting in July 2007 to provide travel to/from a few islands and i have a few questions on that. i have visited their web site and seen the infortmation they have there.
the answer to my question might be obvious to some , but its not to me. and i dont even know if anyone has looked into this at all..
if you decide to take a car across the ferry do they charge the listed rate for the vehicle + driver+pasenger(s) or
listed vehicle rate + passenger(s)
plus im wondering, how about the views? will it be close enough to land/coast to be able to see some sites?
also a related question, will the car rental places and the inter-island ferry system allow you to take rental cars from island to island?
any thoughts on this?
thanks much!
new super ferrys for inter-island travel
1) From what I understand there is to be a separate charge for the car and each passenger, but no doubt they%26#39;ll have packages.
2) Doubt you%26#39;ll see much besides blue water and industrial ports.
Perhaps a little coast as you approach Kauai.
3) No idea re rental cars, but I have to think drop/fly/new rental will be cheaper and faster. right now interisland airfares are very low as Go! tries to force their way in. So far they%26#39;ve just about killed Island Air and winged Aloha.
