Wedding and luau at the Smith Tropical Paradise

I am getting married in March and would like to hear the pros and cons of having it at the Smiths Tropcal Resort in Kauai

for how many people?

Pros:

Smiths has a very pretty tropical garden. The luau is pretty good (been 15 years but people still say good things) as well. it%26#39;s a convenient location. Probably will have an all in, capped cost.

Cons

You%26#39;ll be sharing the event with whoever else shows up -- could be a pretty large group. For the Taste of Hawaii, there are easily 250 people in the main pavilion. No idea how many they get for the luau.

Can be rainy in march though they do have covered areas for seating for the shows and the main pavilion where dinner is served. Same risk most everywhere if you are planning an outdoor wedding though.
