I am looking to book a place to stay for my honeymoon. My fiancé John, is a member of the Louisiana Army National Guard. He has recently returned from Iraq and I wanted to take him somewhere special. We have never been to Hawaii before and have no idea where to stay or what to do. The main reason that we plan on coming to Hawaii is because John has always wanted to visit Pearl Harbor. So we plan to visit kauai first and then spend the remainder of our trip on Oahu. We would like to stay at a Bed and Breakfast or possibly a condo. We would also like to stay on the beach. Does anyone know or recommend a place. Since it is our honeymoon we were looking for somewhere a bit more private than the large resorts. The trip will be in April.

The BnB list here has info and recommendations. People also swear by vacation rentals by owner (VRBO.com). there are many older threads here where people review and recommend specific condo complexs though if you want privacy that%26#39;s probably not what you are looking for.
