Hi,

Im going to Hawaii next august on my honeymoon and Im looking for some advice on which hotels we should stay in .

First we%26#39;ll be spending a week in the princeville area of kauai and would like somewhere really nice with a great beach nearby.For our second week we%26#39;ll be staying in Lahaina on Maui and again would like a nice hotel close to a nice beach.Any advice would be welcome.

where to stay

Rather than staying in Lahaina proper, I hope you are planning on staying in Ka%26#39;anapali area. The beach there is stunning. That is where there are several big hotel chain hotels, ie. Hyatt and Marriott. Check the reviews here and you should also get a guidebook.

In my opinion the hyatt is your best bet..!

i went there for my honeymoon two years ago and cant wait to go back. for our fifth year anniversary we will be returning without a doubt! you will luv what the hyatt has to offer just make sure you explore maui while you are there it is a beautiful island!

We just returned from KaAnnapoli Shores for 2 weeks. It was beautiful. Make sure you have a view of the ocean. We saw

whales every day from our window and a couple small turtles

while walking the beach north of Black Rock. South of Black Rock

was a bit more crowded. We walked through the Kaanapoli Beach Club and it was also very nice, built it the 1980%26#39;s. Buy some snorkel gear and you will never be bored.
