We are staying at the Fairmont for a week in May. I signed up for the Presidents club a few months back. Do we need to bring any paperwork with us to ';prove'; this, or may we just tell them. Do they then look it up? Any other suggestins for our stay at the Fairmont? Also.....Is there a starbucks nearby??? Gotta have my morning coffee!!!!

Hi there,
No, you do not need any paperwork since your information is automatically in their computer. I would just call the hotel ahead of time to make sure that your President%26#39;s Club number is attached to your reservation. When we checked in, they actually gave us a plastic Fairmont President%26#39;s Club card. It%26#39;s such a great program, considering it costs nothing to join!
While we were there, I would go and get my morning coffee from the Caffe Ciao market on the first floor. We ate at the buffet once during our stay and really enjoyed it, but most mornings we just didn%26#39;t want a heavy breakfast before we set out or went swimming so we would just have something light on the lanai. We also spent most of our time in the upper pool with the swim up bar because it was a great place to chill out and meet other people. We got a couples massage at the Spa Kea Lani, which was nice but didn%26#39;t blow me away. I think that on our next trip I might try one of the other spas in Wailea. The salon at the hotel does have a great detoxifying hair treatment though.
The other thing I highly recommend is the canoe experience. I saw something about it before we went on Samatha Brown%26#39;s show on the travel channel and decided to try it. It is free for all Fairmnot guests ; you just have to make sure you sign up ahead of time. It was a pretty unique experience and the guides are very knowledgeable. Anyways, overall we had such a great experience that we are going back next fall. Have a wonderful trip and be sure to wirte a review when you get back!

Thanks for the quick response Rach727.
I%26#39;ve lurked on here for over a year, and finally started posting. It really is a great source of information, and helped me to choose were we stayed. I will call and give them our #, as we booked through a travel agent, and did not provide her with this. Keep your fingers crossed for me that we get an upgrade like you!!!!!!
I%26#39;m keeping my fingers crossed for you! I don%26#39;t know if this made a difference, but I made a point of saying as we were checking in how much I had looked forward to this trip because we hadn%26#39;t been able to take a honeymoon the year before because of my husband%26#39;s immigration issues. I just think it helps to be nice to whomever is checking you in and make sure they understand this is a special trip.
