Just booked our next trip

For next April (spring break..yuck but have no other option). Prices have jumped in the last few weeks and was afraid it would get worse. Direct flights over were already booked. I am somewhat relieved that I have it purchased now but wish I would have done it a few weeks ago. I could have saved a lot of money.

I totally understand. We just returned on 4/1.

I booked us for next Spring already because I found a $293 fare from San Diego to Maui...hard to believe, and with a family of 6 that saved us $$$. The same flights are now almost $500!!! So, I am GLAD I booked!

If my kids were situated (son%26#39;s off to UC SanDiego next year, %26amp; daughter will be a HS senior..), I%26#39;d pack a suitcase (well, mabye two... with all the boardshorts I have..) and leave the mainland %26amp; my entire household of goods!

A hammock, shorts, slippah%26#39;s, grill....and a glass for my MaiTai%26#39;s are about all I%26#39;ll need!!!

I MAY need to rent a room, considering the cost of the HOA dues at the Kapalua Villa%26#39;s......any interest??

I got a condo waiting for you right in North Kihei....lol... not quite what you are used to in Kapalua..

Unless California Real Estate gets out of the commode, I may need to amend my plans, and make friends with the southwestern part of the island... (jk!) Upcountry is waaay too cold for me!!
