1 month vacation with 2 toddlers

We are looking for a one month vacation in early may.

Is the Masters at Kaanapali Hillside a good choice? It is a 2BR 2BA, we are 4 adults + 2 toddlers aged 6 month and 2 year%26#39;s old. We like beaches, surfing and play with the babies in safe/quiet areas. We would appreciate to be closer to the beach but house/cottage/condo in our budget range (4000$) are hard to get.

why don%26#39;t you take a look at Wailea instead. Try mauiownercondos.com. I recommend Ekahi Village for families, spacious gorgeous grounds, wonderful pool and beach. Fabulous for people with children. Being on a beach is essential with children. Trust me. We have been taking our son for ten years.

I think you%26#39;ll find the beaches in the Wailea are perfect for your little ones. Most are very, very calm in the mornings, and the weather is beautiful. I think you could easily get a 2BR/2bath condo within 5 minutes of the beach down in that area. We like Grand Champions...not beachfront, but only a short walk or drive down the hill, and we%26#39;ve found some truly amazing condos there.

Now, can I just say that I%26#39;m SO jealous?!?!? Enjoy your trip!!

Wailea condos are very spacious. Try VRBO for rentals by owner as well.

Wailea: The Palms, Grand Champions, Wailea Ekahi. (The first two are newer, but you will probably want to drive to the beach. Ekahi is oceanfront, but older; look for a refurbished unit there.)

Kihei: Hale Pau Hana, Kihei Surfside, Mana Kai -- all oceanfront. Or, Maui Kamaole, Hale Kamaole, Kamaole Sands -- directly across from Kam III beach park, which has grass and shade for kids as well as a nice beach. (restrooms and lifeguards, too)

We actually like the area that The Kihei Resort is in. Make sure you view your condo first. Rent directly from owner or through Alii Resorts, that way you will know exactly what you are getting. We also like Sugar Beach Resort. It%26#39;s very family friendly and has a great big remodeled pool that%26#39;s oceanfront. Also every unit is oceanfront and fairly affordable.

Oh, I%26#39;m thinking of The Kihei Beach Resort.
