Pride of Hawaii Jan 29th

Has anyone been on the Pride of Hawaii lately? Any recommendations for the trip? We would like to Scuba dive a few times and take a kayak tour. Perhaps fishing. Also spending 2 days in Honolulu, any recommendations? We would like to take in some of the sights like Diamond Head, the beaches and perhaps the zoo.

We just came back from a cruise on the Pride of Hawaii and were disappointed with the service and food quality, but I guess it%26#39;s a little late to cancel.

I would definitely recommend Diamond Head and the Polynesian Culture Center on Oahu.

Avoid taking the NCL excursions if possible. You%26#39;re better off renting a car and booking directly.

The specialty restaurants will cost about $20 per person, but the quality and service is far superior to the %26#39;free%26#39; dining.

Pride of Hawaii Jan 29th

My husband and I will be on the same ship on the 29th, maybe we will bump into each other. cruisecritic.com has more complete information. We rented a car from Thrifty on each island, it was pretty reasonable, less than $50 per day. Found out that if you book the car through NCL it is only for 4 hours. We also found out that the tours are very expensive and cancelled the ones we booked and will visit them on our own. Volcanoes National Park is only $5.00 per carload. See you in two days!
