There are two websites for booking tours that I have found so far.
www.hawaiiactivities.com and www.adventureinhawaii.com
Has anybody had any experience booking through them?
Are they reliable?
Are there any others that I should consider?
Booking tours onlineI cant say I have used either of these companies. Sadly I have read a lot of stories from others on TA who have been taken by companies who claimed to be reputable tour operators, to save a few bucks. I tend to book direct with the actual tour operator themselves to avoid problems.
Three of the bigger well known tour companies we have used in Hawaii are:
Roberts of Hawaii www.robertshawaii.com
Polynesian Adventure Tours www.polyad.com
Enoa Tours www.enoa.com
I hope this helps :-)
Booking tours onlineI have used www.hawaiiactivities.com for booking tours in the past and never had any problems with them. They were pretty much the same price as the tours operators charged themselves and they usually call your hotel room the day before your scheduled activity and remind you of the time of your activity. Also, just check out their website and then contact the actual tour operator yourself and sometimes the tour operator will have a deal for signing up directly with them (which saved me money while doing the shark dive tour this past November).
Here is one that I have used before.
http://www.tombarefoot.com/
northern .... here is one I used and referred people to: slion@expedia.com. Stacey is the name and she is a conceirge with Expedia at one of the ocean side hotels in Waikiki. Very personable, reliable and will help with all questions and tours you may want to discuss. Give her a hit and let her know what you are looking for.
