help!affordable, clean,lodging for one nite in or near Hana

We want to leave Kapula area and take the road to hana as our last excursion before going to the Kahului airport to return to Canada.

we need one night accom for four adults. We have a late flight on the 27th 10pm and are leaving our condo on the 26th eary am to take the road to hana. We are looking for something on the way or in hana. Please TA%26#39;s help me out. Should we change our plans. Will be able to enjoy Hana drive, stay and return to airport from 26th to 27th. does anyone have an interesting itienary with good affordable accom under 165.00 a nite. some places sound real nasty and those little crawly things!!! I hope they are not on the beds.

I reserved a place clalled kulani%26#39;s hideaway for one night. I have not stayed there and have read only one negative...neighbors%26#39; barking dogs. i dealt with the owner who is very nice called Libby -now how about you helping me...can we at this time drive the ENTIRE way around past hana?.

we stayed two nights in a rental house called Hale O Pulelehua, it was really nice and it is in your price range. Go to www.hanamaui.com.

We were glad we spent some extra time in the area, there are many natural pools and unusal beaches to explore in the area. Not much food though, we brought some food with us a cooked at the rental house.

We spent 2 nights at the Hana Kai. http://www.hanakaimaui.com/ It%26#39;s a condo resort, so you have a little kitchen. Not fancy, but we had a big lanai (corner unit) with a gorgeous view of a black sand beach. We had a one bedroom, but it slept 4 (2 on convertible twin-size couches.)

The staff is very nice, and even during peak time (right after Christmas) the prices were reasonable and they didn%26#39;t have a minumum night stay. In my opinion, staying in Hana was one of the best parts of a fabulous vacation! You%26#39;ll love Hana!
