best helicopter tour?

Hi,

We will be visiting Kauai in April or May. Can anyone recommend a good helicopter tour? SInce they are so expensive, we%26#39;d like to pick the best!

My husband and I flew with Jack Harter last May on the doors off tour. He absolutely loved it! (I on the other hand was scared out of my mind and didn%26#39;t see much scenery, but I had the gages memorized!) We were priveledged enough to be seated in the front of the helicopter. Our pilot did an excellent job. He knew I was very scared and did everything he could to calm me. I wish I could remember his name, but I%26#39;m struggling with that at the moment.

I think most agree that either company doing the doors off tour is the way to go. No matter who you choose you%26#39;ll love the sceneray as it is amazing. I can say that thanks to the 200+ pics my hubby took!

I%26#39;ve always heard Inter-Island was the best, and my trip with them was fantastic. It%26#39;s doors-off, and departs from Port Allen.

I would also have to say the door-off flights offered by Interisland out of Port Arthur. As far as I am concerned, they are the best helicopter tour in all of Hawaii...too bad they don%26#39;t fly tours on the other islands as well.

Doors off is the way to go IMO.

Hands down Interisland Doors off - We added the stop at the private waterfall and it was magical

I always recommend Jack Harter. They started the whole business, and they do great tours.

Another vote for the doors off tour provided by Inter-Island Helicopter. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I just got back from Kauai. Please do yourself a favor and do the doors off, two hour waterfall trip with Inter-Island and ask for Luca, the Italian Stallion. He has a marvelous sense of humor and is an expert on Kauai and its history.

Start saving your pennies now, you will never regret it. After we were done, my wife turned to me and said, ';Honey, if we do nothing else, it was worth coming to Kauai just to do the helicopter tour.'; Note: she said this after we had been on the island all of 15 hours!

Ditto...I did Interisland and will always say to folks especially interested in exquisite photos just how marvelous it was to have nothing between the lens and scenery, i.e., no helicopter structures (save the occasional blur of a rotorblade) and no reflections on glass of clothing, interiors or other folks etc. Just to feel the sometimes wet, chill, wind patting your cheeks is totally special. That wonderful heli tour is engraved forever in my memory and I%26#39;ll take to my rocking chair.

I can%26#39;t compare to others as I%26#39;ve only experienced Inter-Island, but I%26#39;d highly recommend Inter-Island. Doors off -- the Ferrari of helicopters! My bride and I really enjoyed our trip in late December with Luca. We stopped at the waterfall for lunch -- wow! Absolutely beautiful!!! The ride, the landscapes, the narration by Luca -- I%26#39;d find it hard to improve on our experience.
