please, help me find a place to rent for 4 adults and 2 childern. prefer not so turisty, but sunny, walking distance to a sandy beach. How much doest it rain in the North? (march) Are private cottages better then condos? Any cottages on the south shore? Any directly on the beach, condos or cottages? (2 bedroom or 2 suites)
Is there tropical fruit in season in march?
Thanks zaclonka1
not so turisty place? and other questions
My first piece of advice it stay away from Kaanapali. Take a look at VRBO for vacation rentals (houses and cottages)
We stay in a condo every visit and prefer to be in South Maui these days for the beaches and the weather. We like the following complexes.
Wailea Ekahi Village
Sugar Beach resort
Hale Pau Hana

Tourism is THE business of Hawaii, so I don%26#39;t know if you can avoid tourists; after all, YOU are tourists! LOL
The most remote and low key area would be Hana. Look in vrbo.com for rentals there.
South Maui has quiet condos. (See additcedtomaui%26#39;s note.) Far north in West Maui, you might like the Napili/Kapalua area, although it can still be a bit rainier there in March.
