Best area in late April or May?

HI,

We are coming in late April or early May for 30th wedding anniversary. We%26#39;d like to find out which areas are the best to stay then? Weatherwise. beach wise, etc.

Hi cracker -- it kind ofl depends what you are looking for and what you want to do. Winter season is getting over then, we would probably opt for the north or east shore. If you pick the east shore, you are centrally located, close to shopping and restaurants and can get to the north and south shores without difficulty. The northshore is more beautiful (in my opinion) and has better beaches for snorkeling, etc. It is also more islolated if youl plan on driving all over the island to see all the touristy stuff.

We can probably help you narrow it down some, if you would talk about the things you want to see and how you plan to spend your time. Some people want to move in a condo, cook there, and hang out at the beach. Others want to go all over the island, do everything imaginable, and eat at every good restaurant. This will impact your ideal location.
