Lockers at Hanauma Beach/ Prices for snorkel equipment

Hallo everybody,

we´re planning our first visit to Hawai ever.

Are there any lockers available at Hanauma Beach?

And what do you need for snorkeling? I´ve never done it before, can everybody do it? How much do you have to pay for renting the equipment?

There are lockers there.

Expect to pay $5 entry fee + around $6 to rent everthing you need to snorkel. Mask %26amp; snorkel %26amp; fins.

Everyone can snorkel. When you start, do it in real shallow water.

If you are not driving, you are probably better off getting one of the tours from Waikiki. They are about $11(+ $5 entry fee) using a coupon from the free brochures. They include snorkel equipment.

Hi! You should go there and try snorkeling. If you haven%26#39;t tried it before, you may want to ask someone there or read up about it on the internet before going-about breathing, etc. But, really, it%26#39;s pretty easy and fun. We were surprised at how many fish there were (with lots of people) in only 3 feet deep water or so.

We rented a locker-no problems. And they had some showers posted on posts outside for you to rinse off the sand and everything else.
