What Island to go to?

Hi me and my wife is planning a vacation to Hawaii for 8 days. I would like to know which island would be the best for us. I%26#39;m looking for a place to relax and have things to do. Thank You JR1530

Also, if you%26#39;ll go to each island%26#39;s forum and put in the search term, ';trip reports'; you can read about what others have done on that island and see if it sounds good to you. Another way is to go to your local book store and spend a little time scanning the travel books about the various islands. For me, the Big Island is where I like to spend my Hawaii vacation time, but I like ocean activities, hiking, sight-seeing, and Volcano National Park.
