ok i read in one of the old forums that the PCC luau has no soda pop..and no alchol. no alchol i can deal with but i dont know if i want to spend my evening drinking what? water or juice... could this be right?
How much better is the PCC luau then the others.. i went to Germaines years ago and loved it, but i kind of wanted to try this one since iv heard how great it is.. but now im having mixed fealings. ok i know it sounds silly.. but i drink a lot of pop lol
thanks for the input
PCC luau.. no soda ?ALso is this worth the trip just for the luau if i dont want to stay there all day long?
thanks again
PCC luau.. no soda ?IMHO, PCC is not worth it at all if you are just interested in the luau. Luau food is mediocre at all the luaus, and at PCC maybe even more mediocre (plus you have to stand in long lines to get to the buffet tables, plus no alcohol or caffienated beverages). No, you go to PCC because all the villages provide more interesting activities than you can pack into a day, and because they top off the evening (after the luau) with the best show in Hawaii, the Horizons program.
Jadexx,
PCC has soda pop. You ask your server for it. It will not have caffine.
There%26#39;s a McDonald%26#39;s right next door in walking distance
if you need a soda. You can go in and out while waiting for
the luau. I really think you will love the night show. The luau
was o.k., but the night show is really worth limiting your pop
intake for the day. I also had a cooler in my car and went out
during the day for soda.
Actually, I was surprised but they did have regular caffeinated coffee when we were there in December. They also de-caf.
The PCC is affiliated with the Church of Latter day Saints. One of their core beliefs is they don%26#39;t particpate in anything addictive (drinking alcholol, smoking or caffiene) or so I%26#39;m told by my Mormon friends. Therefore at the PCC everything is caffiene free - they do serve decaf coffee and herbal tea. I know last time we went we slipped over to the McDonalds next door for our mid - day caffiene fix :) We chose to respect their beliefs by not brining any cola in with us but you might want to check, maybe you can bring your own!
So you can smoke there? i know my b/f cant go all day without pop or cigarites (maybe we should try this whole no atticitve thing lol)
According to their official website, they offer decaffinated pop at the PCC, and caffinated coffee and coke is available if you request it.
I don%26#39;t know about smoking, but like other posters said, he could just step out of the PCC and he can smoke.
is it pretty simple to walk in and out to smoke, or is it like a theme park where you need to walk clear backto the main entrance every time?
They do have desiganted smoking area%26#39;s! My mom never would have gone with us if they hadn%26#39;t :)
