Hi to all!
We%26#39;re traveling for the first time to Kauai the last week in march and staying through the first week in april. I%26#39;ve been reading the posts in this forum to look for places to stay, as time is getting short for making a reservation!
Can anyone tell me what the east side Beaches are like during the end of March and April? We%26#39;re considering staying somewhere on the east side so we can have access to both north and south island activities. The other option is to do one week on the south side, and then the next week on the north side.
It%26#39;s our 25th wedding anniversary and we never had a honeymoon. (Hey, we were way poor back then!) We%26#39;re taking our 21 year old and 14 year old with us. We can%26#39;t wait!
I%26#39;d also appreciate any recommendations for places to stay. Thanks!
Traveling to Kauai at end of march. Beaches??
We went the 1st week of April last year and aside from a few beaches with rough water on the east side (not too rough for local surfers though), all the beaches were great.
My advice would be to stay one week down south and the other week up north. I like the north much better and when we go back, we%26#39;ll do a day trip to the south but stay up north the rest of the time. Ke%26#39;e and Tunnels are the two best beaches for snorkeling.
I%26#39;d look at VRBO for rentals. There are a ton of them. I would stay near Hanalei...AWESOME place!!!
