Worth the cab cost to PCC?

Im planning on going to the PCC while in oahu, they offer a bus ride out for $40 pp, im wondering if anyone know hows much the cab cost is to and from? how bad is the bus ride included for the 40.. is it really packed and worth it to pay for a cab? We will not be renting a car and we want to be there by 12 so we wont take the public bus even if it goes there.... sugestions?

They have a couple of different modes of transportation. One is narrated. Perhaps that is the one that is $40 pp.

I think they are having problems with their online reservations.

I suggest you rent a car for one day. You can see the North Shore.

When we booked our tickets online we could pick return transportation in large bus coach for $19 pp which has designated pick up stops.

The other was curbside mini-bus transportation for $24 per person return which picks you up from your hotel.

Im not sure what the $40 pp price is for %26amp; I didnt see that on their website.

maybe i was thinking $40 pp but it was $40 for both.. sorry. so i guess $20 each isnt bad for the bus ride out, is the bus tour guide any good?

I would strongly suggest you get a car. For the price of two people you can buy a map and rent a compact car. Don%26#39;t even think of trying a cab as you WILL go broke. The North Shore is beautiful why just stay in a bus and see the PCC when you can get a car and go anywhere you want?

Roads can get congested but it%26#39;s an ISLAND and a small one at that. You will eventually find your way unless you have too many ';Blue Hawaii%26#39;s'; :)

Hi! The PCC is fantastic-we loved everything there. When we went to Oahu, we rented a car because it just made everything easier-we could go wherever we wanted whenever we wanted. But if you don%26#39;t want to rent a car or have to drive, the $40 seems quite reasonable to me, especially as it%26#39;s a long drive out there. It%26#39;s a beautiful scenic drive along the coastline-I%26#39;m sure in a bus, it would be great. You wouldn%26#39;t be the one driving the tight corners.
