One night stay in Oahu. Recommend hotel please!!!

We will be staying one night in Oahu on Aug. 14th before we fly out the next afternoon to Kauai. I would like a reasonable hotel that is either on Waikiki Beach or close walking distance. Also I was wondering if any of the hotels have early breakfast because we will be leaving early on the 15th to go to Pearl Harbor tour. My husband and I are going for our 10th anniversary so we want a fairly nice place to stay and would probably want and oceanview of some sort. Any help would be great.

Sorry I%26#39;ve never been to Oahu, but I noticed that no one had answered your question so I%26#39;am bumping you up so hopefully someone that knows can help you. Good luck.

Why don%26#39;t you try priceline? We bid in April for 1 night in Waikiki ... Priceline has a ';resort'; category you can choose. We ended up at the Hyatt for $160 a night -- got an upgrade to a partial ocean view room. Great!

Or, if you have the $ to spend, check out the Halekulani. The Sheraton Moana Surfrider is a very romantic hotel to me, as well ... sort of an ';old Hawaii'; feel right in the heart of Waikiki on the beach.

If you tell us a bit more of what you%26#39;re looking for we might be able to help more ...

You may also look into Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach which is a favorite right on the beach with great beachside restaurants of Dukes and Hula Grill to get breakfast. Sometimes the rates can be high, but you can also find some great deals as well depending on the time of year you are traveling. You may also check out Hilton Hawaiian Village which is also on the beach and has more consistently decent rates than the Outrigger, and it is also a favorite property here.

We did this same thing and since we were checking in at 5pm and out at 6am we did not want to spend $$$$. We chose the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani for its location, views and cost. we had a room on the 10th floor overlooking diamonhead and partial ocean view. I think it was $119. They have a decent breakfast buffet that is open before going to Pearl harbor. If you sign up for a Starwood club you will get 30% off of your meals at the hotel. Parking was also cheap and once you are there you can walk around Waikiki without using your vehicle.

Thanks for the help. I will check prices on those hotels mentioned. I was also looking at Resortquest Waikiki Beach and Waikiki Circle as well as Aqua Ocean Tower. They get pretty good reviews also.

Why not check out the Aqua Palms ? A group of us just got back from Oahu. We stayed at the Hawaii Prince but my brother stayed at the Aqua Palms which is a two minute walk from the beach via the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The staff there were great and the hotel ahd a real feeling of aloha. You also have the Wailana Coffee House seconds away from your front door which is 24 hour and in my opinion has the best hash browns I ever tasted. If you are staying at the Aqua Palms you also get 10% off your bill. They do a pancake special if you like that kind of thing with two lots of bacon, two eggs cooked to your spec and as many pancakes as you can eat for just under $6 with a choice of three syrups. I luuurve the coconut one but sadly couldn%26#39;t even finish the first sitting never mind go back for more !
