Maui Wedding favor?

We are getting married on the beach in Maui. All the guests are getting a lei, but I was lokking for something elkse to give the guests, that is from Maui and will not break the bank?

Where would I go to shop or have the wedding coordinator shop in Maui?

May be too cheesy, but many discount stores and the Maui Tropical Plantation have these little ';Beach in a Bag';. They%26#39;re pretty cheap. We bought several to bring back to friends/family.

Similarly, we were at our God-son%26#39;s wedding last July and they had beautiful blue vases filled with sand and shells at each table at the reception. The women were fightin over %26#39;em when the shindig was over!!

Maui Wedding favor?

We gave our favors out before we left home- a few months before the wedding we sent each of our guests a copy of ';Maui Revealed,'; along with a CD of Hawaiian music and a bag of Macadamia nuts. That way they had time to read it before the trip, and could bring it along if they wanted. If you sign up for Borders%26#39; membership club, you can get coupons and stuff to help offset the cost.

We gave our guests a bottle of Maui wine at our wedding a couple of years ago. It%26#39;s about $7-$8 per bottle, but we gave them per couple. We gave the kids Hawaiian Punch.

My husband being a firefighter and me and him both being surfers, we designed a 3 inch plastic fire engine (yellow in color to match Maui County engines) with a surf board sticking out of the back. On the side we had our names and the date and on the back a magnet. We got a lot of compliments on them. They were fun and definetly different.
