We had a great vacation on Maui

but have nothing to report! All we did was get up, wander down to the beach and lay back down in the sand! Ate and drank too much. The weather was perfect, very very warm and very little wind for the first week. The trades picked up last weekend. We snorkeled almost everyday. We did see a local catch a barracutta, that thing was half mouth! EEEEEEEK! He was a beautiful blue color. They threw him back in....carefully.

Ummm? What else? Beautiful sunsets? Drinks on the beach? that%26#39;s about it.

We had a great vacation on Maui

Glad you had such a wonderful time!

We had a great vacation on Maui

Sounds like a great trip to me!

Sounds very relaxing...................

Thanks for sharing :)

Sounds like a great vacation! Now I don%26#39;t feel bad because that%26#39;s how I enjoy Maui!

Sounds like a darn good schedule...

Did you go or eat anywhere or just consume massive amounts of food in your condo???

Hey addicted!

I did exactly what you did! I%26#39;m not kidding. Eating and drinking especially at sunset, sunrise, and when the sun shined, and sometimes when it didn%26#39;t shine on Maui. I was eating and drinking!

I did do lots of walking around the resorts in Wailea, plus lots and lots of bodysurfing. My sinuses let me know about that stuff. I got lots of exercise by walking... HEY anyone else ever catch that fireworks show at night (possibly with a sober head)?

But addicted, you said it best ....';Beautiful sunsets? Drink of the beach?'; (Ice tea of course).

Surely you did do SOMETHING! Buy a T-Shirt. Even I went to Molokai (hung over bad) for a day trip.

Tell us more addicted....you are HOLDING BACK on that LAID BACK Maui trip....hee...hee

caddy.....

I%26#39;m sure it%26#39;s comimg! Hey, by the way- Any dust bunnies in the condo? LOL! hahaha

Well, I%26#39;m glad to see my husband and I aren%26#39;t the only ones who overindulge! It%26#39;s actally amazing how many tropical drinks we can put away (actually, it%26#39;s probably embarassing!).

Glad you had a nice, relaxing trip addicted. Now, get on that elliptical!

we snorkeled a lot right in front of where we were staying so that required no driving. It was great. Lots of fish and turtles. Our son surfed and he and my husband took a trip to Molokini. We did eat out quite a bit. A couple times in Lahaina but beyond that I just sat on the beach everyday.

I seriously can%26#39;t believe how little we did this trip. It was very relaxing and just what we needed.

In my very humble opinion, the do nothing vacations are the best. Life, regular normal life, is way to hectic. I am often amazed when I hear people giving their trip reports and/or asking about itineraries and it is non-stop activities. While I have never been to Maui, the east side of Oahu, showed me the side of just slowing down. Why be in a rush?

The most energetic thing I plan on doing is flipping over on my towel. Oh----And reaching for the next lava flow.

Glad you had a great time.
